About Far Wescoe

Far Wescoe is a spacious country lodge in Threlkeld, near Keswick in the Lake District. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Lake District fells, the property offers breathtaking panoramic views from almost every window. The extensive garden features mature trees and patio seating where you can take in the stunning scenery. Red squirrels are frequent visitors to the grounds.

Accommodation includes four bedrooms on the first floor: a king-size with fell views and built-in wardrobe, two doubles (one with basin unit) and a twin room with exposed beams. There are two bathrooms - one with shower over bath and WC, plus another with bath and WC. Downstairs features a well-equipped kitchen with Honister slate flooring, dining room with wood burner, lounge, snug with leather sofas and a conservatory.

The location is ideal for group activities. Keswick is just 5 miles away (15-minute drive) with its Theatre by the Lake and independent shops. Walking enthusiasts can tackle Blencathra from the doorstep (3.5-hour round trip). Outdoor adventures include Go Ape in Whinlatter Forest (20 minutes), sailing on Derwentwater (15 minutes) and the Alpaca Centre (25 minutes).
