About Yewtree House

Yewtree House is a spectacular seven-bedroom lodge in Cumbria's Eden Valley. This property sleeps 16 guests making it perfect for large family gatherings and group celebrations. The property features a dedicated games room with pool table and luxury eight-seater hot tub on the decking area.

Located in peaceful countryside near Penrith, the area offers easy access to the Lake District. The Eden Valley provides a perfect base for exploring Ullswater and the surrounding fells.

Accommodation includes seven themed bedrooms: Stickle Tarn (king with en-suite), Little Langdale Tarn (super-king zip/link), Overwater Tarn (super-king zip/link with en-suite), Watendlath Tarn (super-king zip/link with en-suite), Blea Tarn (super-king zip/link), Loughrigg Tarn (super-king) and Tarn Hows (king). Five bathrooms serve the property including three en-suites. Two sitting rooms with Smart TVs provide ample social space alongside the dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

Perfect family house that suited 14 of us aged 380. The hot tub was great and we had 2 fantastic sunny days to enjoy the outdoorroom chatting
Yew tree house was lovely we had a fabulous four days . Enjoyed the hot tub till the rain came once we got used to the cooker it was a lot easier an air fryer would help in cooking breakfast for ten The beds are so comfortable and the different areas for relaxing are good if someone wants quiet time We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Had a birthday lunch in The Pooley Bridge inn and that was excellent
The kitchen is far too small for 16 people. Trying to cook for 16 people with a hob 4 rings which kept going off not ideal. Living area not comfortable seating and did not seat 16 people. Hot water went off Sunday so no showers for some people. Delays in getting replies. Beds and pillows comfortable. Would not return

Lounge and dining room perfect for large family time together. Location is brilliant as has a cute pub a few minutes walk away and then it's a few minutes drive to Pooley Bridge for lovely walks
It was well situated, in a quiet area, short walk to the pub. Comfortable beds, nice shower rooms. Plenty of parking at the property. Lovely decked area with screened off hot tub. Nice games room. Would certainly recommend to friends looking for somewhere to accommodate a large party. We were 14 people.

The house was spotlessly clean and well provided for in all respects, in a great location. We would definitely visit again in similar circumstances.

We stayed at Yewtree House for a week to celebrate my birthday with my family who live opposite ends of the country. The house was fantastic, very well equipped and had everything we needed. We really loved the hot tub and games room. Location is great too, walkable to the local pub restaurant and at the back of the house a lovely walk all the way to Pooley Bridge 3 miles then took the bus back to Yewtree 1010 for everything, no issues at all, fabulous house

There were 16 of us aged between 6 and 67. Yewtree had everything we needed sleeping dining playing living.
Where do I begin? Let's just say we can't forget our time here and want to come back every year, again and again. It was absolutely AMAZING!!!

Excellent accommodation, clean and spacious with adequate parking. Prime location for exploring Lake District short drive to Penrith, Ullswater, Pooley Bridge, water sports and the beautiful Aira Force waterfall. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
