Two double rooms (one with French doors to the courtyard), two twin rooms (which can be made up as king-size beds on request) and a king-size bedroom with dressing area and Juliet balcony. Four bathrooms ensure no morning queues. The kitchen has two larder fridges, while the lounge features a cosy wood burner and Smart TV.
Explore Lake Windermere (10 miles, 20 minutes), visit historic Sizergh Castle (5 miles, 12 minutes), wander through Holker Hall and Gardens (9.5 miles, 18 minutes), or browse the shops in Grange-over-Sands (6.5 miles, 15 minutes). Walking paths start right from the doorstep.

Five bedrooms and multiple bathrooms meant our group of 10 had plenty of space. No one felt cramped even during rainy days indoors.
Two fridges and ample cooking equipment made catering for our large group easy. Everything we needed was available.

To reach Rockwood by car, take the A590 towards Kendal and follow signs for Witherslack. The cottage is located just off the main road with clear signage to guide you to your destination.
For those travelling by rail, the nearest station is Grange-over-Sands, approximately 6.5 miles from the property. From there, you'll need to take a taxi to complete your journey to Witherslack.
