Great Location Accommodation. Future Needs Some of the Room Decoration needs to be refreshed e.g. Kitchen Diner, Front Double Bedroom
Pauline
Fabulous house, all bedrooms comfortable, well equipped kitchen and large social space. Secure garden greatly appreciated for dogs. Very central position for accessing shops, pubs and walks.

We have stayed in dozens of houses in Keswick over the years and this was one of the better ones. Generally, it was warm, comfortable, convenient, spacious and well equipped. There were a couple of small maintenance issues as one of the ensuite lights didnt work, the door of one ensuite didnt latch and the curtains in the lounge need attention to make them draw properly. These minor issues however, didnt spoil our stay. The notable bonuses were the parking, space and small garden.
Katharine
Spacious clean house. Bedrooms great, comply beds and ensuites fabulous. Kitchen well equipped and loved the hot tap for teas and coffees! We had a wonderful week celebrating Christmas together with extended family and the house facilitated that. Only negative was that it was chilly in the front sitting room due to the radiator being behind the big sofa. We did however use the log burner which was much needed.

The property was ideal for our annual trip to the lake district. It had off road parking and was easy walking distance to the town centre. It was unfortunate that the gas central heating was down for the first 3 days, so we had to make do with the log burner. However it was promptly dealt with and successfully repaired. We certainly would like to book for the same time next year.

A wonderful spacious, comfortable, warm and cosy, well appointed and high quality house in an excellent location in Keswick. A beautiful space to share with family and it had all we needed for the week and more. Lovely to be so close to town, to the park and to some of the best peaks, as well as to have ample parking a real godsend. Thank you for welcoming dogs at the house too. I would highly recommend No 20, its fabulous and wont disappoint.
The accommodation was fine for our family of four couples. There was plenty of room in the kitchen, dining area and sitting rooms. We had several rainy days during our stay and would have appreciated a better place for drying wet weather clothes. Location was really good with access to the town centre and out of town areas too. We did several good walks straight from the house.

No.20 is a beautiful house in a perfect location for Keswick town, Derwent Water and for exploring the northern Lake District. The house was very clean and well equipped, with an ensuite to every bedroom and off street parking for all the cars a great bonus. The only slight downside was the speed of the wifi, but we weren't there for that. We had a fabulous time and would definitely book No.20 again
Excellent property for our large party the parking was a luxury! Large open kitchen suited our group wonderfully and each bedroom having own bathroom added to great facilities in the house. The great weather week meant we also made lots of use of the private garden space. Sadly the tumbler dryer wasn't working and when we reported it we were informed that the owners already knew this. We had a good weather week so drying clothing was not a problem but had it been wet this would have been very disappointing. With a very active group laundry facilities are always a consideration for us. We all loved the house and will definitely consider it again next time.
The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and more, I. E. games and jigsaws and books and its location tonthe town and park was great.. Our only issues were we couldnt get the large grill to work, a maintenance man was sent out while we were out, which was great, however we received instructions on how the oven worked, which we already knew, and the grill still didn't work. A couple of the showers were straight off the water mains and were a little dangerous as the water in the house was scolding hot, so if a toilet flushed etc. you got scolded. The toilet in the upstairs twin dripped 247 and noisily refilled.
It was a real bonus having parking in this densly populated holiday street, and so close to town.
Clifford
A few of the shower heads were dirty on our arrival and were cleaned by ourselves before use, generally the house is comfortable and reasonably well equipped, it's a great place for a large family or friends to meet and stay together and the benefit of a cap park area certainly makes life easier.
Lovely well equipped house in a great location. Off road parking a bonus. Secure garden perfect for our dog. Extra beds gave flexibility for younger members of the family to decide to share parents room part way through the week! Lots of stairs to keep you fit! Take care when opening the doors to both twin rooms as easy to trap your finger between the knob & the casing.
Deborah
Wonderful property, lots of room. Kitchen fully equipped for our needs. Close to town. The parking spaces are a real plus. We will book again. Only issue was slow internet.
Georgina
This was a great house for a family holiday. An ensuite for each bedroom and the parking spaces were a real bonus. The beds were comfy and the kitchen wellequipped. The house itself is in a great location. We would book again.
Alistair
This was our second time at No 20 in two years ,as a party of five couples 10 persons! Its exactly as the 'description on the tin' comfortable, homely ,great location, excellent off street parking for four cars ! Its now so popular you need to be booking well in advance to get your preferred week the following year, as we have just found out! One small recommendation suggest bath mats in the showers to prevent accidental slippage ! Otherwise a jewel in the Keswick crown!
Extremely slow WiFi, one shower and one bedroom sink blocked. Otherwise a nice house right in the centre of Keswick with its own parking spaces.
Louisa
Perfect base for a large group to enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. The house is well equipped and having ensuite bathroom to all bedrooms was fab. Outside area to sit is perfect and enclosed so dogs safe and off road parking fitted all five cars. WiFi clunky but we weren't in long enough to worry about that much. Had a great time and were very lucky with the weather!
We loved the house and the excellent location and parking. Everything was comfortable, showers were good, nice big kitchen table for group meals, loads of crockery, glassware, cutlery & utensils. Plenty of games, videos, etc, for rainy days! The only niggle for us was that a fence panel had fallen down and had been like that for at least a month without repair our dog tried to climb over it and injured her leg and it would also be dangerous if you have small children nails sticking out, etc.
Alison
Unfortunately the back fence had blown down, not a great problem, house clean, ... Unfortunately the back fence had blown down, not a great problem, house clean, warm and in a great location to the amenities
Great property for two families. Brilliant all the bedrooms being ensuite. Kitchen diner is great too. Location and parking couldn't be better will definitely return.
Clifford
The towel rails in the first and second floor bedroom bathrooms to the front of the house were not working, there was mould on the bathroom wall of the first floor middle bedroom, other than these issues the house was comfortable and great for a large party.
JURGEN
Nothing but good things to say spacious, clean, comfortable, all what is needed is provided. And with Keswich being soooo busy, the house is located in a quiet street. Onsite parking is a bonus. As it is usually the case with holiday homes, the wifi sucked. Somehow holiday property owners don't seem to bother too much about getting a decent wifi. Unfortunately, one of us forget a jacket in her room. We contacted the maintenance manager by email but got no reply whatsoever. Not good.
The house is perfect for us and we have been staying here every year since 2018. Great location and the 4 parking spaces are priceless in the busy streets of Keswick. Already booked for next year!
Nicholas
A wonderful house in a great location with parking as a bonus. A fantastic family holiday week .
Lovely, lovely house & ideal for what we needed it for. Ideal, Beautiful spacey townhouse with everything we needed. The central location & bonus of private car parking was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house was fantastic enough room for eight people that went would recommend it if anybody wants to visit Keswick. Great location couple of minutes walking to the town centre. If youve got a dog to park cross the road is fantastic
Clifford
The house is great for getting a group of friends together, being so close to the centre of Keswick is really good. The bathroom of the room on the first floor directly in front of you at the top of the stairs doesn't have a towel rail, which would be very useful. The skylight in the kitchen had cobwebs hanging down
Great property for location and parking. Everything was as expected from property description.Well equipped kitchen and cleanliness was good.Great to have all ensuite rooms for our three families.Only one grumble,no Christmas tree for our grandson which didnt go down well!,Also a bath mat for bathshower in back bedroom, very slippy bath surface, but no worries we used alternative shower.Overall very pleased and good value for price!
Very good property in an excellent location. Perfect for 10 people. Well equipped with additional extras. Good to have off road parking for 4 cars and a secure garden for the children and dog. Would benefit from clear signs to state private parking for number 20. Small repairs needed i.e. some drawer fronts loose, bottom shelf in dining room fridge door is broken and lounge curtain attachments loose. Overall a perfect location for a great family holiday. Thanks.
Good place to stay amazing location. Dedicated offstreet parking a major advantage. Would happily return,
Lovely, well kept house. Very well equipped, I had a problem finding the high chair but this was sorted out by the highly confessional team running the property.
5 of us shared this lovely house for the week end enjoyed pretty much everything about it. To have a house with its own parking in a quiet area of central Keswick made it special from arrival! Very clean and well equipped, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms everyone liked the showers. Easy walk to the shops, pubs and lake. The only slight grumble we had was the pretty slow broadband usually about 10Mb which made using the smart tv a bit of a struggle at times, but we coped!
