About Hause Hall Farm

Hause Hall Farm offers an exceptional Grade II listed farmhouse in Martindale, Cumbria, perfect for large groups seeking spectacular Lake District accommodation. This historic property sleeps up to 14 guests and features five cast iron open fireplaces and a four-oven Aga for memorable group gatherings.

Located part way up Hallin Fell at the south end of Ullswater, the setting provides breathtaking views over fells and hidden valleys. This secluded area offers peaceful countryside surroundings with direct access to outdoor activities.

The farmhouse contains five bedrooms and five bathrooms, including the Master bedroom with a 6-foot super-king antique oak bed, Rampsgill with king-size zip and link bed and Bannerdale with super-king zip and link bed. The adjoining Cruik Barn adds two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ground source heat pump provides underfloor heating downstairs. The dining area seats 18 guests comfortably.

Groups can enjoy Ullswater Cruises (8 miles, 15 minutes), Dalemain House medieval stately home (12 miles, 20 minutes), Acorn Bank Garden (15 miles, 25 minutes) and Appleby Castle (18 miles, 30 minutes). Rock climbing, kayaking and sailing are available locally.
