Middletown Reviews

The cottage was spacious and comfortable. Parking was an issue as we had 3 cars but the is generally the case in Keswick. The microwave needs upgrading to be able to cope with 6 people. The sitting room was cold especially near the window which needs secondary glazing. The property would benefit from a coffee machine which we expect as standard when we rent.
Beautiful clean, comfortable, spacious house with a well equipped kitchen. Very handy location, with outside space and wonderful views. The perfect place for a long awaited family get together. Wed definitely stay again.

Everything was great, thank you!

The cottage is beautiful, exactly as the photos show and very in keeping plus has all the mod cons and more. It is a minute walk to the main central area in Keswick where we visited many of the pubs and restaurants and local shops. We parked in the long stay central car park which is only a few minutes walk, but were able to park outside for a couple of minutes to take our bags out of the car. Keswick is immaculate and although it is very busy with tourists its not overwhelming like a number of other tourist hot spots in the Lakes. There are so many lovely shops and cafes and all very tempting. We loved our time in the cottage and will definitely recommend. The football table in the garden shed was good fun also.
This an excellent property accessible to the centre of Keswick. Car park only 3 minutes walk away and temporarily accessible by car to drop off luggage. We have used it for several years to attend Convention. Owners friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent.
Lovely cottage with a perfect location for easy access to the town. We have stayed here twice now and would recommend. It has been lovingly restored and is a comfortable, wellequipped house.
Lovely house in a great location, we loved the proximity to town. We thought the scenery was beautiful and we did some lovely walks, and enjoyed the local bus services to get about. Plenty of good shops and places to eat, we really liked Keswick. The only minor downside is that there is no parking at the property, the owners did however arrange parking for one car on nearby car parks.
A fabulous property, very well equipped and comfortable and a great location. The owner replied promptly to any questions and provided all information we needed for our stay. We will be back.
What a fantastic property. Stayed with a group of friends on a walking holiday. The cottage had everything you could need and more. Beautifully clean with lots of storage and space. Lovely outdoor space to sit in too which is rare for the central location. Perfect for all that Keswick has to offer. Couldnt fault it at all. Will definitely recommend and revisit. Great communication before and during the stay. Thank you so much.

We were a group of 6 adults and thought it was a fabulous cottage, with a great location. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped, the lounge was very comfortable and all the bedrooms were spacious and light. It had everything we needed and we would be very happy to stay here again.

Middletown is a beautiful cottage Perfect accommodation for a group of 8, we had 3 generations staying. It is very well equipped and spacious. The owners have thought of everything My parents loved the little sitting area, halfway up the stairs. Fantastic views, perfect for morning coffee It is very central to all of Keswick but also for the start of many walks for different abilities. Would definitely recommend and we will rebook if with large group again.
