We had a fantastic stay at High Cross. The view is spectacular and the house spacious, very well catered and comfortable. The amenities are excellent and there was nothing lacking for a two week break in the lakes. We would return without doubt.

High Cross is in a fantastic position with wonderful views. We were blessed with excellent weather and enjoyed eating outside enjoying the views and sunsets. It is very well equipped with everything you could need. We had two dogs with us so unfortunately couldnt make use of the whole house as the dogs werent allowed in the carpeted rooms meaning we were confined to the kitchen area. There were a few areas that need attention. The coffee machine needs descaling, the patio area needs a good clean and the loo in one of the upstairs bedrooms is virtually impossible to flush. It does warn you its quirky but we found it almost impossible!

The house was lovely, with great views and very comfortable. A few minor niggles which, if put right, would make it feel significantly better eg the curtains in the big sitting room are nice but cheaply hung and the top pulled too tight so they do not close some of the 13A mains sockets did not connect properly which could be a fire hazard if used with a heavy load. The presence of oldfashioned 5A round pin sockets used for lights, all with test certificates so not a direct safety concern suggests that the house has not been rewired for some decades? But altogether a lovely stay, many thanks.

High Cross is a spacious interesting house up on the hill with wonderful views across Keswick to the northwest mountains. The house was fully equipped with some very nice touches. Five of us werent very comfortable there, with plenty of communal space. I would definitely consider staying there again

Our second stay at High Cross . Perfect . Very comfortable. So many extras even a Christmas tree . Beautiful views and very quiet Care needs to be taken on the slippy steps to the front door as we had an extremely wet week, Thankyou to the owners for their thoughtfulness.

A great house for us our daughters and grandsons and the dogs. Lots of space for all .. amazing views. Cant wait to come back one day .

What a beautiful property. It felt so homely, like staying at Grandma's Location was great for getting out and about dog walking but also into the town. Beds comfy and great bathroom and kitchen facilities.

The property was extremely well kept and the pictures on the website don't do justice to it.
