Eildon Lodge Reviews

Husayn
This property is special, we had an absolutely amazing stay at Eildon Lodge. The landscape and scenery around the property are truly beautiful peaceful and breathtaking, it is exactly what we needed. We stayed here with our family and genuinely cherished every moment. We came mainly to climb Scafell Pike, and the location was pitch perfect around a 2025 min drive. , we alap were able to complete the mountain, which made the stay even more special. But honestly, the lodge offered so much more that we found ourselves wanting to spend more time in the house itself just enjoying it. The amenities were excellent and the house is fully stocked with everything you could need. Its clear how much care and thought has gone into the property. We made sure to respect the home and left it clean, as it truly is a special place. Thank you for a wonderful stay we would love to return again.
A beautiful property with fantastic views and a pleasure to stay in. It had everything you could possibly want. A great location, with hills and valleys on one side and the sea and beaches on the other, all within easy reach. Just a message for the owner there is a loose flagstone on the patio at the edge by the grass that lifts and tips, which could cause someone to fall.

For the owner. .. Some of the pillows could do with being replaced with new ones, The sharp knives need sharpeningreplacing and a couple more pans to make cooking easier. We has a lovely stay over the Christmas period. The house is amazing, as are the views. Beds comfortable. The place is really clean. Beautifully furnished throughout. We would definitely stay again.
Just returned from a week at Eildon Lodge. We chose this house to accommodate the six adults both family and friends and our small dog. The house is spacious and very well appointed. the weather was exceptionally cold but the house was warm and cosy. Large TV with SKY occupied some evenings, The kitchen and eating area are very close and spacious. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bedrooms either have good ensuite facilities or close by bathroom. Our wee dog loved the spacious garden. There are stunning views from most windows in the house with Scafell mountains clearly visible on the horizon. We frequented two excellent inns both only a few minutes walk from the house. The Kellbank Inn serves good food with a nice bar area. The Gosforth Inn was also very welcoming. We hope to return to this lovely holiday accommodation soon.
We had a brilliant week at the lodge. As a family of 8 adults it was a perfect size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was peaceful, quiet and very scenic. Handy for travelling around..we went to Keswick, Cockermouth , Whitehaven to name just a few. Plenty of mod cons in the property and beds very comfy.Great garden and loads of parking space at the property. Small issues with the shower was reported and owner very prompt in responding. The dvd player is missing the lead to the tv but not important for us but im sure the owner will get another lead. Overall highly recommend this property and our family intend to return in the future.
Eildon Lodge is a stunning property with beautiful views of the area and Scarfell. We couldnt fault a single thing, it was perfect. The downstairs en suite shower was out of action but the owners are on to it and there are two other showers to use so was no inconvenience at all. The facilities and decor are all top notch and no expense has been spared in any room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Eildon Lodge.

This is a very nice property in a good area for families to stay. Well kept and maintained property. Instructions everywhere so you cant go wrong. My family loved the stay and we would love to go back.
We had a lovely time, the views were wonderful. It was so peaceful. The gardens were fantastic for the children. Plenty of room for everyone. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Plenty of places to visit. We went to St Bees and we also went to wast water both not for away. The expel air in the downstairs bathroom was very noisy. Lovely place to stay!

We have just returned from spending a wonderful week at Eilldon Lodge. What a beautiful place to stay. The bungalow, although large for just 2 people, as it does accommodate upto 8 was so homely and relaxing. The gardens and surroundings views of Scafel pike fells were breathtaking and memorising . Any queries were promptly dealt with by the owners and management company representative Lucy. A week was certainly not long enough, therefore we look forward to returning again in the near future Thank you Elaine and Alan
